Sometimes failure is the only option
This is what I refer to as the “Curriculum of Life.”
These tests vary wildly in difficulty and overall impact on our lives. Some tests we can retake if we screw up – while others, the results are more permanent. Sometimes they only affect self, but frequently it affects others. The impact of showing up to work late one time differs from the impact of being caught in an affair by your spouse.
I’m sorry to disappoint you as I do not have the answers to the curriculum of life. Who Does?
What I do have is some perspective on perhaps to handle these life tests:
1. Be thankful for the tests you do not have to endure – learn from others. Be grateful you escaped the pain and tribulations some situations incur.
2. Be gracious and mindful of the tests you have conquered – you survived. Reflect on your growth, what you have gained, and what you have lost. Stay humble in your success, as another test could be right around the corner.
3. Be willing to accept the consequences of the tests you fail – we must learn from our failures. It is essential for growth and evolution. But at times, failure comes with consequences, and you must face this. These are the stakes of life.”

Interpretation
Tests will continuously fly our way. Sometimes, we will inevitably fail the tests we are chosen for. The consequences of failure may be astronomical; other times, it may be low stakes. At the end of the day, there is a lesson to be learned, which is one thing you acquired from the test you passed or failed.
Never beat yourself for your failures. Accept your failures, learn from them, implement the lessons you learned from your failures, and move forward. You must prepare yourself for the upcoming tests – as they will never stop coming your way; this is the game of life.
The more we implement our learnings from each test, the more likely we can succeed on the next one. Each test is an opportunity to be cherished.
Don’t rush through a test, or you might need to retake it. Don’t be overconfident after you pass a test, or you might get the same test in a way that brings about failure. Share your lessons with others so they have the opportunity to do better than you did at the game of life. Knowledge hoarding is one way to fail at one test life gives us: the test of kindness and generosity.
Never underestimate the power and gift of experience. The past and our life experiences are practice.
