The last habit is the hardest
1 Drop Sugar Sugar is in the majority of everything the average person eats and drinks. The less sugar you consume, the smaller your waistline. Consuming less sugar means consuming less carbs.
2 Drop Alcohol You can go a whole lifetime without a drop of alcohol, and your liver will love you for it. You don’t need it, and if you do drink, you don’t need that much.
Your waistline will trim up if you cut beer and wine. But you might also experience better sleep if you drop these along with liquor. And the better your sleep, the better opportunity your body has for rest and repair, which is always positive for weight management.
3 Drop Inactivity The best way to keep weight off is to eat clean meals and stay active. Park far from entrances. Take the stairs over the escalator and elevator when it makes sense. Walk daily. Engage in more physical activities. Avoid lounging around all day. Use a standing desk instead of a sitting desk. And Stay active. The more active you are, the more you’re moving your body, which will keep you burning calories, healthy, strong, and fit.
4 Drop Dehydration Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Avoid sugary and caffeinated drinks and instead opt for optimal hydration. Keep water on you at all times.
5 Drop Eating Out How often do you eat out? Some people eat out daily. Others eat out a few times a week or weekly. If you’re eating out and eating the right foods, that’s one story, but most people consume foods that aren’t best for their bodies.
The con about eating out is that you have less control over the ingredients in your food. Fast food contains a lot more chemicals and additives than food you make at home, where you can control the ingredients.
6 Drop Over-processed Foods Over-processed food here and there isn’t bad, but if you’re trying to lose weight, it will slow your progress.
Focus on eating more wholesome meals to help your body’s digestive system and to avoid unnecessary calories.
7 Drop Smoking Smoking cigarettes is just bad business. Why add unnecessary chemicals to the body when you don’t have to? One of the best ways to drop weight is to live a healthier lifestyle, and smoking doesn’t fall into this definition. Drop smoking for your health.
8 Drop Alcohol Sugar is in the majority of everything the average person eats and drinks.
9 Drop Cardio-Only Workouts Cardio isn’t going to do it for you in the long run. Though cardio is stellar for your heart, if you want to keep weight off and build a stronger and overweight-resistant body, you must implement resistance training.
10 Drop Inconsistency If you want to experience results in your health, you will have to drop inconsistent habits.
Inconsistency only produces one thing: inconsistent results.
