8 Don’t Weigh Yourself Daily
Frequently, people who want to lose weight skip the easy wins that could dramatically decrease their weight. If you don’t believe me, try the following ten tips, and notice how your body changes over the next 1–12 weeks.
You will see differences early and throughout the process of adopting these ten tips.
Sugar: If you want to shed pounds, get abs, flatten your stomach, or tone up, cutting out sugar will do the trick. Sugar is in everything we eat and drink. You must be intentional about the foods you consume and read labels, or you will accidentally consume way more sugar than necessary.
Bread: Cut the bread. I usually only like to eat bread at restaurants or when I’m eating out, and that’s it. I don’t need bread unless I’m trying to gain weight. It’s unnecessary and can easily pack additional calories into your meals.
Fasted Cardio: If you’re going to do cardio, blast fat by doing cardio in the morning right upon awakening, so you blast fat.
Snacking: Cut the snacking out. Snacking often equals extra calories.
Condiments: These tasty sauces usually have less healthy additives and sugar, adding extra calories to your meals.
Eating Out: This one is simple. The more you eat out, the less control you have over the ingredients and calories you consume. When you eat out less and cook more, you’re more in control of your weight and overall health.
Drinking Water: Water not only suppresses the appetite but contributes to a clearer complexion, higher energy, and regulates healthy digestion.
Don’t Weigh Yourself Daily: You don’t need to weigh yourself daily. Weigh in once a week and call it a day to ensure you’re making progress. Weighing yourself daily might attract difficulty in losing weight because you’re so focused on losing.
Eat Veggies: We often eat more than we should because our food lacks nutrients. Adding fresh veggies to your meals suppresses your diet, increases energy, keeps you youthful, and helps you live longer with fewer health issues.
Eat Clean: Easier said than done; I know, but eating clean is the best way to drop weight. I’m not overweight, but when I eat completely clean, I drop weight because clean foods don’t add weight to your body when you eat them in moderation; they help you drop weight.
What About Working Out?
Notice I didn’t put working out on here. Many people drop weight by changing their diet and nothing else.
Working out is not required to lose weight, but it does help.
What’s most important in your weight loss journey to keep the weight off is to, of course, maintain a healthy diet, but secondly, build muscle.
When you build muscle and continue to build muscle, it’s harder to gain fat and become overweight.
