Certain things resonate with you differently, depending on where you are in life. I enjoy reading particular books repeatedly — one being The Daily Stoic. Something I often find myself thinking is: “Wow, I don’t remember reading this.” Other times, certain readings mean something entirely different than they did at a previous time.
Here are the 3 reasons why it’s a great idea to re-read certain books:
1. If you are continually educating yourself, you are always evolving, which means your mind becomes open to new ideas, thoughts, and information. Consequently, your brain also digests information differently, overtime — usually in a more useful way. Many readings will come across entirely different after reading it a second or third time.

2. You probably are at a different point in your life versus last year. The changes might be small, or the changes might be significant, but there are apparent differences in your life that will allow for many readings to impact you differently.
3. Some concepts we need to keep reviewing until we reach mastery.
