Quick, easy implementations you can execute today
30%?
That’s radical.
It’s more common for a financially savvy person to live off 50%-80% of their income and far less aggressive.
But something the wealthy do to distinguish themselves from the average person and expedite their wealth is to live off a marginal amount of their total income.
If a wealthy person earns $300,000/year, they’re living off 100k or less, which means they’re stacking away the other 200k in investments and business ventures.
That equals $2,000,000 in savings over ten years without factoring in compound interest.
Hence, if you’re earning 1,000,000, you’d live on 300k. The more wealth you have, the easier it is to live off 30% of your income – unless you’re practicing lifestyle creep, which is also very easy.
Simulation
If you earn 100k/year, could you comfortably live off 30% of your income?
That would equate to $2,500 a month.
If you drastically downsize your lifestyle this would be feasible, but most people are unwilling to shift their lifestyles to save this kind of money.
2. Stop trading their time for money.
The wealthiest people avoid wasting time. They understand that time is money and money is time. The most expensive intangible thing is time. You can’t get time back, and you can’t stop it.
Most people spend their time clocking in or working something around 40 hours a week.
Create a product or income source that will work for you around the clock without requiring consistent effort.
You will never build real wealth if you consistently trade your time for money.
You must maximize time.
You must learn how to bend time.
Make time work for you.
3. Invest to own.
If you buy a stock, you are officially part-owner of a company. Many people don’t see it this way, but investing in any company or business makes you a direct company owner.
The wealthy not only invest in stocks, but they invest in real estate; one of the most critical investments they acquire.
If you don’t own anything, it will be hard to build real wealth.
Cash holders are sitting on a burning stack of cash.
Owners sit on stacks of cash that continually grow because of compound interest.
The Wealthy Don’t Rely On The Government
The wealthy don’t seek the government for free handouts; they pave their own way and build wealth utilizing one thing: their mind, which is composed of infinite intelligence.
If you rely on the government, programs, and other financial aid to pay your way through life, you will never experience true wealth.
