Improvement never stops
I have no clue about the algorithm of Medium, but I do know that Medium tends to award consistency and quantity more than anything.
Many writers believe quality trumps quantity, but this is not the case. Who do you think becomes the better writer:
The writer who publishes three extraordinary articles per week
The writer who publishes three articles per day
The answer is obvious; it’s the writer who publishes three articles per day because they’re getting in more practice. The more you practice your craft, the more skilled you become at your craft.
I might have published over 2,000 articles on Medium, but I’m still a long way away from being an expert or master writer, but as I continue to write, one thing is for sure, I will improve. The only way to improve is to practice.
Consistency always wins.
I don’t always feel like writing.
I’m always learning something new.
I often don’t see immediate rewards.
I don’t always know what to write about.
I’m doing the right thing because writing makes me feel at home wherever I’m doing it.
