Prioritize not letting yourself down vs. others
The most crucial accountability partner you can ever have is yourself.
When you can get to the point where YOU don’t want to let YOURSELF down, you’re doing your f*cking thing.
Too many care more about letting others down because they don’t respect and value themselves more than others.
I challenge the narrative.
Yes, having people hold you accountable is helpful, but you shouldn’t need an accountability partner to get the job done.
Personal Goals
I am the one person accountable for all of my personal goals.
No one is holding me accountable, so I must show up for myself.
If you can learn to show up for yourself, this is when an accountability partner becomes a superpower because it helps you go even further.
But to need one is dangerous; it creates an unhealthy dependency.
Other Examples
Personal Trainers
There are many benefits a personal trainer can offer, but you shouldn’t need one to get your workout in.

Financial Advisors
You don’t need a financial advisor to start investing or to learn about investing.
You need to be proactive and crack open a book, listen to a podcast, or watch some videos to learn how to manage your money before giving up your power and allowing someone to manage your money unquestioningly.
