Time for you to discover your ACTUAL passion
Narrative 1: Follow the money.
Narrative 2: Follow your passion.
Narrative 3: Follow the money and your passion until your passion earns an ideal income.
Narrative 4: Do both, and don’t try to monetize your passion, or it’ll take the fun out of it.
Why narrative three is best.
I’ve been writing since I was a kid, which is how I know writing is my passion.
Since my writing career spans a large 2/3 of my life, there have been times when I got paid and didn’t get paid.
I’ve tried both, and monetizing my passion is the best feeling in the world.
To be rewarded for writing….there’s no feeling that compares to that.
Getting paid to write has never taken the fun out of writing.
It’s fascinating to get paid to do something you’re passionate about, find genuine joy in doing, and impact people’s lives with your thoughts, ideas, and expertise.
If getting paid to do your passion strips the joy out of it, then it’s not a passion.
You might’ve thought it was, but when you involve money in something, it will tell you how passionate or not passionate you are about an activity.
