Anything is better than 0%
0% won’t get you anywhere in the long run, and making progress at a rate of 0.01% won’t get you somewhere anytime soon.
But in the long run, one will get you someplace – eventually – and the other will get you nowhere.
Even if you don’t feel like it, make a little progress.
If you’re trying to lose weight, take a one-minute walk.
If you’re trying to write a book, complete one sentence.
If you want to be a better friend, send a kind text to a friend.
If you want to do better at your job, complete one extra task at work.
Do one small thing, and over time, it will add up, and you’ll start to want to do more because you’re slowly becoming addicted to making progress.
