Just write
The more you write, the better your writing will get.
Write.
Write.
Write.
Write.
Write.
Then write some more.
If you don’t know what to write about, then write whatever comes to mind.
Your writing doesn’t need to be perfect.
Your writing doesn’t need to always make 100% sense.
Your writing doesn’t have to be grammatically correct word for word.
Your writing is a method of expression of who you are, and over time, that writing will grow into something that will stun you. The more you write, the more of a writer you become.
Whenever I feel like I don’t have any words to say, I tell myself to continue writing. The words will come, I just need to keep hitting the button on my keyboard, and something will come to mind. Something always does – even if it’s gargled words that make no sense. If you keep writing long enough, that gargling nonsense will start to make sense not only to yourself but your readers.
