Write from the heart, experiment, and explore
However, you probably also notice that I trickle in a full blast of other topics such as culture, black hair, African-American experiences, tech/corporate experiences, health, fitness, affirmations, personal experiences, others’ experiences, writing, relationships, love, the law of attraction, travel, goals, productivity, business, entrepreneurship, and the list goes on.
Some say writing in too many categories slows down your results, but I think differently.
I don’t believe in sticking to niches.
I believe in writing whatever comes to mind. I come in contact with too many experiences not to write about them.
If my purpose is to inspire and help people think and become more conscious, writing about only two topics could limit my audience reach.
If you tend to focus on specific writing categories but often have the urge to experiment with other genres, go for it.
Don’t limit yourself.
The more you can enjoy the writing process (in addition to being consistent), the better your results will be, and the more success will follow you.
