How to transition into a semi-permanent hairstyle
Over time, I gradually made my twists smaller and smaller, so I could get a taste of what sister locs would be like, and it worked!
I finally got sister locs installed, and they are 100% better than mini twists and a lot less work.
If you’re hesitant about getting sister locs, an easy way to test the theory is by wearing twists for a while. If your twists are small enough, you can wear hairstyles as if your hair is loose- like sister locs.
You might like mini twists and keep those, but sister locs will always be easier to maintain, require less time to manage, and lead to healthier hair.
