The factory analogy
The rich consistently get richer because they have large sums of money working for them around the clock, 24/7. The more individual dollars you have, the harder your money works for you.
It’s not the rich’s fault that they keep getting richer; they simply can’t help it.
If you have one million dollars sitting in an investment fund at 10%, there is no way around the fact that you will earn at least $100,000 that year doing absolutely nothing except leaving your money in an investment fund.
Another thing about the rich is they usually continue adding new streams of income. They often don’t settle for one or two.
So, they’re consistently increasing their income, and their money is consistently working for them.
The richest millionaires are often cashflow millionaires explored in the article, “The 8 Types of Millionaires.” The cash flow millionaires know how to earn income without lifting a finger because they have created multiple passive income streams.
The Factory Analogy: 100 v. 1,000 Workers
Factory 1 has 100 workers.
Factory 2 has 1,000 workers.
Which factory do you think will have the highest productivity rate?
It’s obvious; the factory with 1,000 workers.
The more workers (dollars) you have working on your behalf, the more money you will produce. This is just how it works. The next time you’re angry or bitter about rich people, remind yourself that they can’t help but be rich because their money is working for them like a factory worker.
You want to have as many factory workers (dollars) as you can get in the initial phase of making your way to the millionaire status zone.
It can take time, energy, and effort to gather these initial factory workers, but once you have enough, your factory workers will essentially start procreating more factory workers, increasing your production rate exponentially without you having to lift a single finger.
