“Your Income Is Directly Related To Your Philosophy, Not The Economy”
Are you relying on the economy’s temperature for your income?
If you have a broke mindset and believe that your income is tied to the economy, this will be your life experience. However, if you don’t allow the “economy” to control your finances, you will be less affected or unaffected by the economy. Which would you rather be?
I work in tech. Some people say many layoffs are happening right now, but guess what? Even if you get laid off, you can get another job quickly – as long as you believe you can. I ignore layoffs. I only focus on my goals; this is how I’ve obtained every position I’ve held.
The same goes for writing, entrepreneurship, and anything else we are passionate about. If you listen to the masses, you wouldn’t write. Because everyone wants to be a writer, but the truth is, there is actual money in writing. You only need to be consistent. The best athletes and the ones in the pro leagues are the ones who put the work in almost daily. They had a goal set before them that they paid attention to; they didn’t focus on how high the odds were stacked against them.
All of us were born to be average and make average income; most people do just this. But then there is a subset of people who find a way to move out of the average sector and into the above-average section, then into the 1%, and then into the 1% of the 1%. Do you think they’re thinking about the economy? Nope. They’re thinking of their intentions and how they can make them a reality.
Relinquish your broke mentality and dependence on the economy, and you will experience an elevation in your financial output. And guess what? You have an even more significant advantage if you didn’t come from money. There is something magnificent that many people born into poverty or environments that lack wealth have: its tenacity and a desire to better their situations – independent of external circumstances.
The economy is “technically” stacked against us. But those who choose to be financial outliers will never allow the economy’s temperature to impede their income. They will break through all the financial barriers because of their philosophy about money and intentions.a
