Stop Feeling Bad About Saying “No”
Stay in the driver’s seat of your life
“No” is a powerful word. But so is “yes.”
If we say “yes” too much, we might start to feel bitterness, disconnected from ourselves, and mentally ill. When we don’t speak our truth, we mute who we are at the core and strip away the pieces of who we are.
The more we say “yes” when we really mean “no,” we start to move into the passenger seat to allow others to drive our lives for us.
That’s no fun.
It takes a severe toll on your mental health when you keep saying “yes” to things you want to say “no” to; I know it feels terrible to say “no” sometimes- especially when we can say “yes,” but we must do what is best for ourselves so that we can live our happiest and most fulfilling lives.
