Travis Scott Astroworld Festival Houston
Sorry, I’m not sorry for feeling any sympathy or empathy for Travis Scott, who has a history of orchestrating out-of-control concerts and egging fans to go “stupid crazy.” I genuinely believe he saw the paramedics, people falling out, and people being smashed (aka suffocating), and we know his team did 100%.
10 Questions I Have For Travis Scott & Team
Why was the show not canceled after the security gates were breached and a stampede ensued?
Why did Travis’ cameramen not do anything when people told them people died? Talk about heartless…
Why did Kylie Jenner not communicate to anyone that she saw paramedics in the crowd and instead posted the paramedics on her Instagram story? She could’ve stopped the event – easily – since Travis Scott “didn’t know what was going on.”
Why did Travis’ fans feel comfortable dancing on top of a paramedic’s vehicle that was trying to save dead and injured concertgoers? Where is the accountability?
In a previous concert, why did Travis feel it was okay to say, “fuck him up” to his audience about a fan that took one of his “priceless” Yeezy shoes? Like you will be okay, Travis. Go buy another pair of Yeezy’s. I bet you can even get some for free since Kanye is basically your brother…
Who was in charge of the hiring for Travis Scott’s event, or does it even matter? The people you hire for your brand are always a reflection of you.
Why did a security officer throw a fan to the ground?
A security guard was pricked in the neck with a needle. I wonder…could this potentially have been prevented if the security gates weren’t breached? Probably.
Travis Scott is known for inciting riots and encouraging fans to act like total fools. Now people’s sons, daughters, and friends are dead. Are we okay with this?
Can someone explain Travis Scott’s cryptic concert message, “see you on the other side”? He didn’t die; only his fans did.
I’m trying to understand, is this what our world has evolved into? Have we reached that point where we are careless enough to continue a raging concert for fun while people die and get injured in return?
Popular Music Artists Who Handled Crazy Concerts Correctly
Billie Eilish: Two things she did right – she handed a water bottle to the hurt individual and challenged her security to get with the program.
Linkin Park: They even encouraged the crowd to be empathetic and help people that pass out during the event.
Foo Fighters: Check out Dave Grohl looking out for fans like a good samaritan.
Playboi Carti: This event was canceled before the show even started because guess what? Shit went down at the security gates. Ticket holders picked up metal fences meant to keep fans in line ahead of the concert at 8 p.m. At Astroworld, fans stampeded the gates; this event should have never even happened, which would have saved at least eight lives that are now gone forever. But Travis Scott praises rowdy and reckless behavior, so maybe this conversation is pointless.
