Poetry
I’m more than a body
I’m more than a face
I’m more than an abomination
I’m more than an upset to our race
–
I’m not here for you
I’m here for me
I’m not here to make you happy
I’m here to live me and be free
–
We are all tired and frustrated by your involvement
Tired of your ignorance
Tired of your hate
Tired of your ugliness
Tired of your pettiness
–
Whatever happened to “equality”
Whatever happened to the consideration of being apart of the human race
But no one else is equal unless they look like you
You’re the abomination
You’re the disgrace
