4 tips
Keep yourself hydrated throughout the day. One of the easiest ways to stay hydrated is to surround yourself and your typical environment with water; that way you automatically create multiple opportunities to consume water. Hydration keeps your muscles loose and your energy levels up.
Stretch and foam roll daily if possible.
Take your rest days to avoid overworking your body and central nervous system. If you never provide yourself the opportunity to recover, you will be doing more harm than good. A friend took Tylenol right before their workout. That’s right; they were already in pain before they even started working out. Once their workout was over, they couldn’t do anything but lay down because their back was in so much pain. Now they can’t work out until their body fully recovers. Listen to your body, and your body will treat you swell.
