Work Never Trumps Health
Many employers offer stipends to invest in your health. So why don’t more people use it? Because we get so focused on producing the deliverables our bosses ask for that we forget the most essential piece of the puzzle: ourselves.
Whether you work in tech, education, government, retail, fast food, etc., remember to get that workout in.
Take care of yourself because no one else will do it for you. With obesity, heart attacks, heart disease, diabetes, and cancer on the rise, there is one constant thing we all need to do more of: invest in our health. Start today.
Block out some time on your work calendar or use your lunch break to release those endorphins. Pick a time that is easiest for you and stick to it. You’ll always feel better and thank yourself now and in the future for your diligent investment in your health.
