Are You This Person: “I Need X, But I’m Not Doing Y”
Stop wanting change if you aren’t putting in the effort
Awesome! Are you eating healthier foods, intaking fewer calories, and working out consistently?
Person 2: I need a job and more income.
Okay, that’s great! Did you update your resume and start applying for jobs?
Person 3: I want to improve my relationships.
Excellent! Have you been prioritizing spending more time with the people you love and demonstrating more thoughtfulness towards them?
Where Is The Effort?
Often the answer to all of the above questions is, no, unfortunately. But the best way to improve your situation is to act. If you don’t act, you can forget about experiencing anything different.
Change is hard; it’s difficult, traumatic, and takes effort. But once you break past these barriers, the sky is the limit for you.
