Cut sugar OFF to maintain higher clarity
This week was tough for me emotionally, so what did I do? I avoided sugar at all costs. Something about sugar increases brain fog, emotional distress, and even anxiety – when too much is eaten, sometimes even a little bit can do this. You might think it’s numbing your pain, stress, and emotions, but it’s just burying it temporarily.
When you overeat sugar, what happens to your body? You feel sick. So imagine what a little sugar does; yes, it might temporarily feel good, but it’s ultimately not the best thing to give your body.
Do I like sugar? Yes, it’s my favorite type of food outside of bread and butter (another type of sugar), but do I eat it all the time? Nope.
The effects of sugar are not all great – especially if you’re already dealing with physical, emotional, and mental ailments.
If you have a test coming up, an interview, or are under duress, avoid sugar. It will help keep your head clear.
