It’s FRIDAY.
Before you turn on the TV, here are some things to think about:
Did I engage in any self-care activities today (i.e., eating clean, physical activity, stretching, breathing, hydration, reflection, meditation, etc.)
If you’re getting value from this — sign up for my newsletter, a free daily 5 AM email. Discipline delivered before the sun comes up.
Did I work on my goals today?
What actions did I execute that move me closer to the change I would like to experience in my life?
Are my surroundings clean, livable, fresh, and mentally clarifying?
When is the last time I had a nice conversation with a loved one?
Am I caught up on my responsibilities (e.g., work, family, bills, etc.)?
It’s almost second-nature for many to click “on” without thinking about any of the following things listed above. Instead of diving into mindless enjoyment, take care of your business first. It takes discipline, which is a form of pain, but your TV experience will be 10 times better. Cheers to a great weekend, everyone!
