Here’s How Women Can Deal With The Little Red Devil
Cycle. Flow. Little Red Devil. Period. What’s your name for what I like to call the “earthly curse” all women have to face during their lifetime?
I don’t know about you, but I loathe my monthly period; what a waste of time it is. But I have been fortunate to find a remedy for some of the symptoms that come with it. The primary symptom I face on my monthly cycle is pain; other times, I face appetite loss, but this is not a genuine con. [Side Note: Contrary to popular belief, my period does not affect me emotionally or mentally.] However, the cramps, pain, and stomach issues that come along with the cycle are not only inconvenient but amply uncomfortable. Here’s my remedy that I have found to be 90–100% successful for me personally.
The Power Of Activated Charcoal
What is activated charcoal?
Activated charcoal is helpful in eliminating toxins in the body and unwanted substances. When you intake activated charcoal, toxins can bind to it, which helps the body eradicate unwanted substances.
Why do people take activated charcoal?
People take activated charcoal to detox the body, for stomach issues, and other ailments (e.g., drug overdose and poisining, but always get immediate help from a doctor for these issues instead of relying on natural remedies). When I was introduced to activated charcoal, I took it for bloating, stomach pains, and as a natural detoxifier.
Other less studied uses of activated charcoal include:
Prevents gas
Reduces high cholesterol
Prevents hangovers
What does activated charcoal do for the female cycle?
I noticed when I took activated charcoal for several days leading up to my monthly cycle, my cycle was smoother, lighter, and less painful.
Finally, I decided to start taking activated charcoal each night of my cycle 3 hours after my last meal for the day (an empty stomach provides max results), and the benefits were 100% evident.
Now, I barely experience any cramps, and if I do, I can take the activated charcoal twice a day (one 3 hours after my last meal for the day and one during the day if I’m experiencing any pain). Activated charcoal provides the quickest pain relief I’ve experienced – even when compared with pharmaceutical pain relievers.
Note: I prefer not to take pain relievers like ibuprofen, midol, and tylenol because pharmaceuticals often have many unnatural ingredients in them I rather not ingest.
What are some other alternatives for pain relief?
CBD. I highly recommend CBD, but please note, CBD might slow you down and induce extreme calm, which is why I like to rely on activated charcoal.
CBD is great to take when you don’t have anything on the agenda for the day. My suggestion is to take CDB at night along with Kava, Holy Basil, and 5htp to help induce a better sleep on your monthly cycle.
