It’s not okay to be broke if you can help it, which you can
I can’t afford that.
I’m flat-out broke.
The struggle is real.
I’m barely making it.
That’s too expensive.
I’m just trying to survive.
If only I earned more money.
I don’t make enough income.
Waiting for that next paycheck.
I can’t afford to leave my job and get a better one.
Have you uttered any of these statements? Or better yet, do you believe and feel any of these statements to be true for you? Because if you do, they are likely your reality and will continue to be.
All of these statements can be adjusted because your financial situation is entirely up to you if you take action.
People frequently laugh or joke about these kinds of phrases, but there’s nothing funny about being broke, barely making it, living paycheck to paycheck, being buried in debt, or relying on others to provide for you financially.
Being broke sucks, and I know because I’ve been there, and I wanted to escape it as fast as possible quickly.
What you think about, you bring about. So, if you want to transform your financial situation, focus on wealth, abundance, having more than enough, and living a financially successful life.
Your thoughts and feelings about money create your financial reality. Words and feelings are amply powerful. So, choose your thoughts, feelings, words, actions, and jokes about money wisely.
If You Want To Stop Being Broke, Do This
Self-educate yourself about personal finance. It doesn’t matter if you gain knowledge through books, podcasts, articles, conferences, webinars, etc. As long as you continue to educate yourself, you will equip yourself with the right tools to execute more successful behaviors with your money.
Live below your means. Spend less than you earn. Live within your means and avoid lifestyle creep.
Invest. The only way to build wealth is to come into a large sum or invest. For most people, it takes time to build wealth, and the way to do that is through investing, which leverages compound interest.
Increase your income consistently. If you want more wealth, take action to bring it into your life. There is an abundance of resources available to everyone. Take advantage, and never subject yourself to a limited mindset.
Spend your time around people with financial resources and an abundant mindset, and don’t use the phrases listed at the beginning of this article. You become similar to the people you spend time around.
Stop using unproductive phrases about money that keep you financially stuck mentally.
