Why breaks are essential for longevity
MyznikThe only way to truly build actual muscle is to be consistent. However, you must integrate breaks to rest, restore, and recover your body to build and maintain muscle over the long haul.
How often do you leave the gym entirely to heal your body?
I typically implement a 4–6 week break at the end of each year, but now I’m looking at implementing a 1–2 week break every quarter to rest my body throughout the year consistently.
During my off time, I will still perform my main exercises, including walking and abdominal work, which only strengthens the human body’s foundation.
