Don’t blindly trust your doctor. Question everything. Seek understanding.
Moreover, if they tell their doctor they’re having a problem and the doctor prescribes something, many will take the medication without giving it a second thought.
I operate a bit differently.
First, if I ever communicate any issue with my doctor, I always ask for non-medicative alternatives.
Why?
Many medications create a dependency on them and don’t do much good for your body long-term.
Furthermore, we can heal a lot without the implementation of pharmaceuticals.
I’d have a full-blown medicine cabinet if I acquired medication every time my doctor recommended I start a new bs medication.
Still, I’ve maintained a healthy lifestyle without consistent medications for most of my life.
Questions You Should Ask Your Doctor
Why?
What does that mean?
Is this the only option?
Can you dive deeper into those numbers?
Do I really need to come back so sooner?
What are some non-medicative solutions?
Do I really need to come in that frequently?
You’re Going To Need To Stay On This Medication
One of my doctors told me to stay on allergy medication to deal with the weather.
I noticed the longer I took the allergy medication, the weaker my immune system became.
I observed my body and mind creating a dependency on the medication, which was a wake-up call for me.
I stopped taking the medication permanently.
Instead, I focused on building a robust immune system with natural supplementation, which has worked out exceedingly successfully.
The Ultimate Goal: Less Is More
My goal is always to take the least amount of medications possible. Our minds, diets, stress levels, and lifestyles are frequently the primary culprits of sickness, disease, and inflammation.
If we alter these things, we can observe our bodies heal themselves – without the integration of medication.
There is a place for medication, which can help expedite the healing process.
Just remember there are other options to explore in conjunction with medication, and in many instances, you won’t require medication at all – even if your mind believes the opposite.
Do Your Research
Always take the time to learn and explore your health with credible sources outside your doctor’s knowledge.
Go into your appointments with beginner-level expertise and know enough to ask thoughtful questions.
Never leave the entire approach to your health in someone else’s hands, no matter how many degrees they have.
Be proactive in matters concerning your health. Learn about the topic, implement what you learn, and continue to elevate your health so you can experience longevity, vitality, and robust health.
Be sure you also attend your annual appointments to maintain a fresh eye on your health.
