Pay attention – joy is always at your fingertips
Whenever I return from running an errand, the dogs are elated to see me as if they thought I died and came back to life.
If I’m walking one set of dogs and leave the other set in the house, the dogs left at the house greet us from our walk with a rare and intense form of enthusiasm; they are always excited to see us return home.
My dogs are always ready to play, and whenever I am in the mood to play with them, they jump right in with me, ready to rock n roll.
If I am ever experiencing a low moment, they are ready to show me how much life is to be explored and experienced with a bucket load of joy.
My dogs have taught me that happiness is a lifestyle. It’s not something you hold and let go of whenever life happens. Happiness is a permanent state of being and can be for whoever allows it to be.
Dogs mesmerize me because their souls overflow with love, joy, laughter, smiles, energy, and ease. They’re always challenging me to hold onto happiness – something that never has to leave your side if you permanently open your heart to it.
