Learn WHO you’re allowing into your life
They don’t want to rock the boat, appear too interested, or make the other person uncomfortable.
But it’s always better to make the other person feel uncomfortable than to avoid asking the questions that matter most to you. Your romantic relationships are one of the most important, if not THE most important, relationships of your life. Romantic relationships add value or detract value from your being.
If you desire to surround yourself with quality people who align with your values, you must ask uncomfortable questions and be prepared for answers that don’t sit well with you.
Rock the boat.
Don’t be so desperate that you’re willing to allow anyone to stay in your life without knowing who they are, what they stand for, and what purpose and value they can offer you.
Asking thoughtful questions to the people you spend time with is a sign that you have healthy self-esteem and are cautious about who you allow to have a seat at your table.
