Be genuine
One, in particular, comes out of the shadows only when food is around. I call him shallow, but it’s true!
People frequently operate similarly.
When they need something is the only time they hit someone up instead of consistently investing in the relationship to build rapport, but sometimes it’s because they just don’t care.
But this is not a world-class mindset.
If you genuinely desire to lead a successful life, you will consistently invest in relationships and focus on providing value instead of taking from other people.
Successful people are givers. They know how to receive, but they focus on giving.
