It slows you down tremendously
I understand people go through stuff, and those situations provide an excellent reason to pause. But most other situations shouldn’t be a reason for you to pause your job search.
When you pause applying to jobs, you lose momentum.
You get rusty, and your interview confidence also starts to decrease.
Keep the momentum going, so you can stay sharp and land your next role sooner than later.
Consistency is one of the most critical aspects of the job search.
Remember that someone else is out there ferociously applying to jobs, getting interviews, and is about to get that offer, unlike you, who continues to pause your job search.
Avoid slowing yourself down from reaching your career goal.
