If it’s not, cut it out to expedite your progress
The most common things include:
Phones
Internet
Social media
Hanging out
Unplanned and unproductive conversations
Specific goals in my lineup require laser-focused effort. Hence, for these goals, I don’t communicate with anyone unless it’s an emergency.
I disappear.
Gone with the wind I go.
The more distracted I am, the more I slow my progress down, which extends my journey to the finish line.
I tell my best friend frequently, “Call me if you need anything,” because I will not be checking text messages.
People close to me know that I am likely not always to respond because I am working on specific tasks.
It’s not personal, but our conversation will not contribute to the end goal.
However, I will get back to the messages eventually.
If you desire massive progress in certain areas of your life, it will require tremendous sacrifice.
