Even in the most painful situations
It’s challenging and uncomfortable to get through painful situations.
And hearing someone say, “Find something to be grateful for during this painful time sounds harsh.”
But the more you focus on gratitude, the better you manage tribulation.
A perfect example
A couple of years ago, I lost a loved one, but I could’ve lost two loved ones.
It was hard to recognize this truth during the loss because I was so broken up about the one loss.
But over time, I realized it could’ve been way worse, and I was beyond grateful the other person made it out alive.
There was still hope in a dark situation, and I had a lot to be grateful for – even with the loss.
Gratitude never negates pain, but it can make it slightly bearable.
