Hard Gainers: One Way To Increase Your Calories
You’re about to have the time of your life
Here is the benefit of doing this on top of getting in your regular meals:
If you eat clean, you’re probably getting in fewer calories versus if you eat out several times a week. Of course, you don’t want to eat out several times a week without an end in mind – especially if your chosen food isn’t calorie-dense and hard on your physical body.
But if your food is calorie-dense, and you’re getting in all your regular “meal prep,” you will likely notice a weight and muscle mass surge.
Whenever it comes to my training, I have found great results when I eat out once to multiple times a week. Salmon, rice, and avocado can only go so far!
Here’s what you must remember as a hard gainer: The more palatable your meals are, the easier it will be for you to get in more calories.
There are weekends when I will aim to get in 2–4 burgers, which helps me put on more weight and muscle mass without having to force feed, which is never fun.
