It starts with you
Obesity has been a consistent situation throughout my family generations, but I decided to take a different approach to produce a different outcome.
The easiest way to initiate change in the world is to start with yourself. If you invest in your health, learn about it, and start implementing new habits, it will positively impact others.
Here are some of the habits I’ve maintained that have helped me rewrite the script for my health:
1. Physical Activity
I joined the gym when I was 14 years old and never left. I also take several walks each day and stretch.
2. Clean Diet
I consume a relatively clean diet about 60–70% of the time. Your diet is a consequential factor in your health. If you don’t eat right, your body will pack on weight. Learn how to eat correctly and be consistent. I can get away with eating how I want sometimes because I’ve maintained a relatively clean diet most of my life. Consistency builds resistance.
3. Education
Without knowing better, you can’t do better. Read reliable articles on health so you can implement better habits and know which habits are best for your body.
