Expedite growth, protect your hair, and decrease suffocation
Wigs are great if you take care of your hair underneath, but many people don’t. And if you’re going to wear your hair in braids under your wig and continue doing so, you might as well lock your hair, and here’s why…
Suffocation: A significant con about wigs is it keeps your hair covered, which can ultimately suffocate growth and stifle circulation.
Growth: The cool thing about locs is that it expedites growth and decreases the manipulation you consistently put on your hair.
I am convinced at least one of the two people to lock their hair while wearing wigs finally. I’ll write a future post on how their hair journey evolves.
Eventually, you’ll want to wear your locked hair because it’s going to look so fantastic – meaning your hair will finally be able to breathe more frequently out from under those wigs. 🙂
