Momentum is everything. Get f*cking aggressive.
When was your last interview?
If your last interview occurred 3 weeks ago or more, it’s time to do something different.
Here are a few tips:
Update your resume.
Update your LinkedIn profile.
Complete weekly mock interviews.
Start networking/reaching out to people.
Use the job description to update your non-verbal and verbal verbiage.
Increase your job applications. If you’ve been submitting 100 leads and aren’t seeing any fruit, apply for more!
Don’t stand still if you notice a consistent lag building in your job search.
If you’re getting value from this — sign up for my newsletter, a free daily 5 AM email. Discipline delivered before the sun comes up.
Momentum is everything. Not only does momentum help you stay motivated, but it helps attract more callbacks and the right job opportunities because you’re in a more positive state.
Think about it. Which person is usually smiling a little bit more:
Person A: Getting interviews weekly.
Person B: Not getting interviews at all.
Whenever I experience a lag in interviews, I double, triple, or even quadruple my efforts. There is no way I won’t produce fruit by implementing aggressive changes.
