No, you don’t have to take steroids and enhancements
Exercise
Cross country used to be my thing, but then I realized I could not retain as much muscle considering how many calories I was burning. Then I would have to eat way too much food, which isn’t feasible.
Workouts happen anywhere from 5–7 days a week. Lately, I’ve been on a daily rotation where I work out all my muscle groups twice within eight days, and I keep going until my body is fatigued.
The aim is to consistently lift heavier (i.e., strength and building more muscle) or do more reps (i.e., strength and conditioning). Every day, the goal is to do better than the previous workout. Sometimes I notice slight differences in strength that could be from sleep, diet, stress, or insufficient recovery time.
Diet
I do not count calories, but I count grams of protein – something I recently started.
My diet is not 100% clean. I eat clean about 60%-70% of the time. When I eat 100% clean, I tend to lose more weight. So I balance between eating primarily clean and partially unclean.
Water is vital, and PH seems to matter. When I drink slightly higher PH, I notice that my body responds with more energy, better skin, and high-quality hydration. Filters can work just as swell.

Supplements
I do not take any steroids. If I did, I would be a lot bigger, and it would also be easier to build and retain muscle. I’m 100% natural, so I have to be more strategic about my workouts and diet and constantly experiment, which most bodybuilders already do.
Multivitamins are key. Regarding vitamins, I focus on implementing supplements that do not have many additives and are free of sensitivities: gluten, soy, dairy, milk, and nuts. I try to avoid pharmaceuticals if possible, which means hemp, activated charcoal, black seed oil, oil of oregano, and other herbal immune boosters are key.
I do not use pre-workout consistently, but I utilize Maca, Ginseng, and EAAs. If I were to change anything, I would try coffee or go for the pre-workout.
If you want to gain muscle, the primary thing you need to do is eat mostly clean and continue to increase the amount of weight you lift each week. That’s it.
