Excuses won’t change your body
My thoughts: Any time is great for a gym visit when a person is trying to lose weight and lead an active lifestyle.
Insecurity is a common theme amongst humans, but even if you are in shape, you still face insecurity. People will look at you whether you are overweight, slim, or average.
Face The Music
The more willing you are to face the music of being overweight, the sooner you can change your body. If you continue going to the gym and eating clean long enough, you will lose weight and not be so intimidated to go to the gym.
Acceptance is the first step that can lead to change. Accept where you are today to accept where you need to be tomorrow.
No Excuses
If you’re genuinely uncomfortable going to the gym, and can’t seem to muster the strength and confidence to go, then at least do at-home workouts and change your diet. Not only did the person above not go to the gym, but they also ate out throughout the day and only digested foods that should be left alone for the time being.
Don’t sit on your extra weight because you’re intimidated by the gym. Get moving and start changing your habits now. If the gym is not a comfortable place for you to start your health journey, start it right in your bedroom, your house, your neighborhood, your bike, the community pool, or the courts (i.e., basketball, soccer, tennis, football, etc.).
There is no excuse for not being a healthier version of yourself. Get up and go.
When you’re already overweight, it’s easy to continue gaining weight. The excuses can continue piling up as you’re gaining weight because you’re becoming more comfortable with your most consistent habits leading to weight gain.
Criticism is as numerous as grains of sand
