Poetry: Finding Yourself
I got scared.
Scared to travel.
Scared to live alone
Scared to be on my own.
Scared to embrace change.
Scared to meet new people.
Scared to see people from my past.
Scared to see the people I care about.
Scared to do my own thing.
Scared to think different.
Scared to look different.
Scared to feel different.
I lost my independence.
But I’m finding it again.
And it feels amazing.
