If you find yourself overly occupied by your emotions, learn to take control by utilizing logic.
Logic is always readily available to utilize in your daily life, decisions, habits, and behaviors. But we often forget to use logic because our emotions can be overbearing and take precedent in how we conduct our life.
One of my favorite quotes is: “Don’t let your emotions rule you.” It’s easy to say this quote, but the challenge comes with executing this quote steadfastly.

Are you living a life based on emotions or a life based on logic — with emotional consideration? Living a life based on logic (with emotional consideration) means you make decisions based on applied knowledge (wisdom) and do not let unproductive emotions overtake your life and your decision-making process. It’s okay to feel, but it doesn’t mean we need to act on every feeling. Emotions can often lead us astray and stir up unnecessary turmoil in our lives.
Many people often question themselves with, “What was I thinking when I did that?” Well, the truth is, they weren’t. Learn to use the most powerful gift you’ve been blessed with: your mind. Logical decisions usually out win emotional decisions.
