Question the motives behind your desires
we enter the holiday season, one thing will be on the minds of more individuals: gifts. But outside of the holidays, we’re still thinking about everything we desire; there is no end to it.
After we get one nice thing, we want another nice thing.
After we earn x dollars, we want to earn x more dollars.
What you desire now will eventually be replaced by something better. The constant struggle to accumulate more is addicting, and if we’re not earning more to pay for all the things we buy, we’re accumulating stuff and debt.
Question your desires and purchases and your motives behind them.
