How are you making a difference in the lives of others today? When was the last time you made a positive impact in someone else’s life? Are you at all concerned with anyone other than yourself?
Most of us hate to admit that we are selfish. Most of us don’t even realize how selfish we really are. But when it comes down to it, most of us just want to live a life that is filled with happiness. We want our goals and dreams to come true and sometimes forgetting about others can easily come about when we are laser-focused on making ourselves happily satisfied.
We can’t forget about what really matters in the process of living our lives.
We can’t forget about everyone else and how we can help them in the process of doing everything else for ourselves.

Forgetting about everyone and everything else that matters only leaves us empty-handed when we finally reach the epitome of what we sought after so viciously.
Make your days meaningful. Start with the little things. Start by being kind to someone. Giving a compliment. Opening the door for someone. Buying someone lunch. Paying for someone’s grocery bill unexpectedly. Sending a thoughtful text to someone. Doing a chore for your spouse. Giving to a person in need. No matter how big, no matter how small, do something meaningful — anything.
We don’t have to change the world to make a difference, but we can change the world by making a difference — no matter how small that difference may seem to us.
