At what point will you finally change?
Help: My Husband’s In Pain
I live a healthy lifestyle and maintain a certain level of fitness; hence, sometimes, people come up to me and ask me questions concerning their health or complain to me about their health.
A woman came up to me the other day and told me her husband was dealing with severe health issues. I asked her, “What is his diet like?”
He’s overweight
He eats out consistently
He continues to neglect his health
Consequently, his health issues continue to stack themselves on top of one another, slowly diminishing his quality of life.
What’s It Gonna Take To Move Your Needle?
My biggest question is: At what point will you finally change?
But doesn’t this go for everything?
At what point will you leave your toxic relationship, start working on your business, complete a goal you’ve been working on for a decade, change your diet, start working out, stop watching too much tv, kill the negative and unproductive habits that are destroying your life, dating the wrong types of people, engaging in risky behaviors, spending more money than you earn, and continue to avoid saving for retirement?
What’s Your Pain Tolerance?
When will you change? How much pain, regret, stress, anxiety, fear, lack of results, and turmoil will you continue to subject yourself to until you decide to change? How much more agony shall you put yourself through? Are you really a masochist? Because most of us aren’t, but we’re so addicted to mediocre results, we become numb to the pain.
There is always a choice. The question is, when will you make the choice to go an alternative route that brings you a better result – a result that feels good? A result that you can live with comfortably without wishing for a different one.
Goals Are Indicators For What We Need To Change
Our goals tell us what we desire to change in our lives. They also convey what matters most to us. If you have a worthy goal, pay attention to it; nourish it by consistently working towards it.
Don’t leave your goals alone. When you ignore your goals, you’re willingly choosing a life of mediocrity, which is a life of stagnation.
Write down your top five goals today, the action steps you believe it will take you to reach them, and start executing on them consistently – day in and day out.
