Have you ever tried to cancel a subscription, and it seemed like the fight of your life?
After you finally win the fight (cancel your subscription), check your transactions; companies might still charge you because of their extensive cancellation process, which deters people from canceling in the first place.
If they try to charge you after canceling, dispute it with your credit card companies, which brings up another point.
Charge all your subscriptions to a credit card (if possible), so companies can’t access your direct bank accounts and take your money when you cancel a subscription.
Put a buffer between you and them.
