Sickness, anxiety, and loss are usually the effects
Overwork comes in many forms; it can apply to your job, relationships, at-home responsibilities, physical fitness, and other obligations.
The same applies to overplay. Overplay looks different for everyone, but you probably have an idea of what that means for you; it could be sex, gambling, watching tv, drinking, drugs, hanging out with friends too often, partying, or spending too much time away from your goals.
Overplay, and overwork can lead to stagnation because you’re out of balance, and when you’re out of balance, you become less intentional. When you become less intentional, you become less productive.
When you go go go (whether for a good cause or wrong cause), at some point, you will be forced to stop; this often comes in the form of sickness or loss.
Take the time to stop every now and then for reflection. Reflect on your purpose, intentions, and goals.
