Be careful about who you share your goals with – positive energy only
I told someone a goal of mine, and the first thing they said was, “I hope you can get it done.”
It was a fair point because the goal was unrealistic, but I used it as motivation to focus and dig deeper even more.
One of the key reasons I never share my goals with others is to avoid as much negative feedback as possible because people are frequently negative without awareness that they are.
If you have a goal, be prepared for naysayers, but the biggest naysayer will always be YOU.
It doesn’t matter if people don’t believe in you; what matters most is that you believe in yourself.
Can you do it? Yes.
Can you achieve your target? Yes.
Can you be better than your past self? 150% Yes.
Now, go make it happen, and be careful about who you share your goals with to ensure you have primarily positive words to support you and your goals.
