Find a balance between helping others and helping yourself
Maybe your boss wants you to work extra hours to turn in a project early.
Maybe your family needs you to help them with an upcoming move.
Maybe your friend is in an existential crisis.
Whatever the case may be, something will always come up when it comes to our goals. Often, we need to tend to these situations with our family and friends because these relationships are valuable, but while we help our friends and family, we also need to do one thing: Remember our goals.
There is no replacement for time invested in your goals.
Find time to help those who need you, and find time to invest in yourself and your goals. If you don’t find the time, everything and everyone else will suck up your time.
