Empathy is a powerful device in relationships
At some point, most of us need clarification about what actions we should take regarding a relationship.
And we seem to always give the best advice to our friends and people we love deeply.
Yet, regarding our sh*t, we can’t seem to gain clarity on the best next steps.
A hack for this is to put your loved one in your shoes.
Ask yourself these three questions:
Would I want my friend involved with a person like this?
Would I want my child or family involved with a person like this?
What would I tell my loved one to do if they were with this person?
Your answers to these questions will tell you everything you need to do.
If you’re in a situation now that you’ve been feeling uncertain about, ask yourself these three questions. If you’re honest with yourself, it will snap you out of a hopeless situation.
