Withdraw and deposit only positive thoughts
I’m reading, “The Magic Of Thinking Big” right now, and it’s a must read.
One of my favorite quotes from the book so far is as follows:
“Any negative thought, if fertilized with repeated recall, can develop into a real mind monster, breaking down confidence and paving the way to serious psychological difficulties (David Schwartz).”
When you have a negative thought, replace it immediately.

Don’t continue investing time and energy into the thought; if you do, you will only bring yourself down, decrease your productivity, confidence, and progress.
Two Recommendations From The Book:
Deposit only positive thoughts into your memory bank.
Withdraw only positive thoughts from your memory bank.
Delete all of the rest, which tends to be negative.
