When was the last time you rested?
When was the last time you sat still and took a moment to meditate, breathe, and be present without focusing on a particular thought? Most people can’t recall a time when they ever did this because we live in such a fast-paced world, society, and culture. We’re always on the go, on our phones, or zoned out to something external instead of focusing our energy on our well-being.
If you’ve been dealing with anxiety, take a moment to be still today so you can release it. You might not realize you’re dealing with or holding onto anxiety until you take a moment to be still without all of the distractions (i.e., people, technology, tv, electronics, noises, work, and obligations).
Stillness is the key to emotional stability, peace, and vibrant mental health.
